Doors 1, 2025
In a world marked by borders, divisions and conflicts, my work “Doors 1” presents itself as a threshold: a symbolic gateway, a passage to another dimension, where the possibility of exit always exists, even in the darkest situations. The door represents a choice, an act of will, a movement that leads beyond fear and violence. The muted monochromatic hues, inspired by the colors of nature and the sky – blue, green, paper – evoke a breath of peace, an intangible lightness that contrasts with the heaviness of the arms industry and war. They are colors that belong to everyone and no one, a symbol of a shared horizon, of a world without borders or barriers. Within the NoWeapon.world project, “Doors 1” fits as an invitation to reflection: what happens when we choose to cross a threshold and imagine a future without weapons? How can we redirect the energy of creation toward construction instead of destruction? This work is a bridge between what has been and what can be, an open window to the possibility of a tomorrow based on cooperation, community, the beauty of the infinite, and the erasure of violence as a historical necessity. Art, in this context, is not just representation but action. “Doors 1” is a door that invites to a new space of awareness: the exit from any vicious circle of destruction to enter a future of possibility.
