Map of the human mind
Writing poems, I felt the need to visualize them. With time, I found that collage was, for me, the most appropriate way of doing this. These collages can be individual works but can also be combined in the form of
an installation. As a human being and as an artist, I need people around me. They are both the inspiration for my work and the theme of my art: human
relations and behaviour. In particular, the woman and the female in the world are the undercurrents of my art: I write and work as a woman, and my work is informed by what I encounter as a woman personally and in
society. I try, during the development of a project, to give a humorous twist to my work; this both allows a sense of distance from the specific and creates a space where the seriousness of the subject can be seen in context.
It goes without saying that working in collage is therefore very suited to my work.
