On the bare ground, the small severed arm with the upturned hand of a little doll that belonged to who knows who: IT IS ALL THAT REMAINS.
And it is not evidence of an interrupted game, but a symbol: it is a symbol for those children who were not allowed to grow up, because they were born ‘in the wrong place at the wrong time’, it is a symbol for all those existences broken by the violence of war, for all those human lives brutally cut short in the insane and unworthy race to prevail one over the other in the name of deceptive democracies, in reality exclusively for greed and the safeguard of economic interests with the use of increasingly sophisticated and deadly weapons to the point of no return.
Nasce a Belluno. Nel 1978 si diploma, prima donna, Perito Edile all’ITIS G. Segato di Belluno e
nel 1984 si laurea in Lingue e Letterature Straniere allo IULM di Milano. Dopo soggiorni studio a
Parigi (1979) e in Messico (1984) si trasferisce a Vienna, dove tuttora vive e lavora.
Il suo lavoro è una ricerca sul luogo comune e sugli stereotipi. I suoi progetti hanno spesso carattere
multimediale con coinvolgimento di persone estranee. I suoi mezzi di espressione sono
prevalentemente la pittura, il collage e l’installazione; i materiali usati: gli strati di carta per la
pittura, il cartone per il collage, gli oggetti comuni e la parola per l’installazione.
Ha esposto in molte città di diversi Paesi fra cui Austria, Italia, Germania, Belgio, Polonia, Croazia,
USA, Israele, Corea Del Sud.
Le sue opere si trovano in collezioni pubbliche e private.
