Intensity Mapping
Concept: A survivor, carrying a small cage containing a symbol (Calimero) of a past life, in a context of
desolation. The use of the gas mask, tells of the invisible dangers such as chemical weapons and what
remains after each devastation. The mask conceals the identity of the person in the loss of humanity
and reveals the anonymity that war imposes on those involved.
Whormole represents the journey through the trauma and devastation of war, a dark and uncertain path
where the light behind gives hope for rebirth. The cold, intense colours create an atmosphere of
alienation and isolation, reflecting the feeling of emptiness and despair that accompanies conflict.
War leaves only deep scars and the survivors remind us of what remains important: life itself, humanity,
even in the darkest moments.
I am a generalist artist, I live and express in the most appropriate medium for that moment.
The camera was my first friend, with it I learnt to stay in reality and look at the world. Then I met
theatre, which gave me an awareness of my body.
And writing, that has always been there, I don’t
remember a beginning.
Since 1990 I study and work on the body of the actor-performer. In continuous communication
between performance and different media, the creation is a composition of body, video, music,
photography and objects that together tell a story.
To date I have produced first works as director and scriptwriter and participated in several theatre
and cinema collaborations. Exhibiting nationally and internationally in Festival, Gallery and
Museum.
