NATURA MORTA (Still Life)
The poster is a still life of weapons and objects related to war.
I evoked the still life style as a representation of everyday objects as protagonists of the work, to place before the viewer’s eyes elements that sometimes we do not realise, but are an integral part of our lives; instruments of war, for defence, hunting, recreation, real or projected, toys or heavy deadly mechanisms.
They look at us to remind us of their daily existence and the title still life is exactly what weapons lead to, the death of nature.
Born in Conegliano, she lives and works in Milan.
She graduated in 2006 in Oriental Languages and Civilisations (Department of Japanese Studies) at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. She began her artistic production in 2008, producing all the graphics, illustrations and drawings for the art group Minimicha and for the Chinese electro-rock group The Pet Conspiracy in 2009. In the same year he performed as a performer at the ‘Queer to Queer’ exhibitions at the A+A Gallery and for Korean artist Atta Kim’s ‘On-Air’ exhibition for the Venice Biennale.
In 2010 he presented the first solo exhibition of the Minimicha art group in Tokyo. Since then she has worked as an illustrator and graphic designer in Japan. In 2016 she was selected for the Graphic Design Biennial ‘Golden Bee Global’ in Ukraine. In 2019 she returned to Italy, to Milan, and began to collaborate with various artists, taking care of the graphic design part. In 2020 she exhibited at the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa for the touring exhibition ‘Il Respiro dell’Arte’. In 2024 she participates as a graphic designer and illustrator in the ‘Siamo Acqua’ project by artist Manuela Carrano, exhibiting at the Indro Montanelli Gardens in Milan.
