The work “Actions for Peace” presents a scenario in which weapons are destroyed as a powerful symbol to promote peace and unity among human beings. The global arms trade represents one of the great hypocrisies and double standards of many governments, which present themselves as defenders of peace and international law while continuing to promote this industry and the wars that feed it.
Its author, José Antonio Hinojos, is an artist, teacher and researcher in the Department of Art at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH). His career includes numerous individual and collective exhibitions at an international level and recognition through different awards.
