The quantum world is a net more tenuous than the one imagined by the old physics; it is made up happenings, discontinuous events, without permanence. It is a world with a fine texture, intricate and fragile as Venetian lace.
With weapons we don’t hit the enemy but we wound the entire world.
Fernando Garbellotto was born in Portogruaro – Venice – in 1955. His artistic research, which began after his humanities and law degree, took a turn at the end of the 1980s when, fascinated by Mandelbrot’s theories on fractal geometries, he traced a new field of research that continues today. He develops his research within the Venetian artistic environment and carries out exhibition activities in various public galleries and private spaces. In 1997 he founded in Milan with other artists the “Italian Chaos” movement with which he exhibited in many Italian and foreign public spaces.
