Annalisa Pisoni Cimelli was born in Genova in 1981, where she currently lives and works.
Her poetics is focused on the exploration of the corporal issue, her body or other ones that often create
universes and dimensions, expressed through various media that spread across painting and video art,
passing through photography.
Images, fixed or moving, communicated in a different form a tale, a hunch, a subtle bond, a story, or a plot.
Almost macro visions, where the body and the skin are like a conduit for a moment where the word is left
and reaches the memory in a primal silence.
She had her photographs exhibited, among others, at Reggia di Monza, at Mediatica di Santa Teresa in
Milan and Pulchri Studio in Deen Haag. In 2020 she achieved a personal exhibition in the Spazio46 in
Palazzo Ducale Genova, and in 2023 she did, for the first time, a big site-specific fabric installation at the
Dac contemporary art Dolceacqua.
She also participates in artists’ residences in Italy and abroad.
