The use of weapons leads to serious consequences that go beyond physical injury and loss of life. Any object used as a weapon, whether material or immaterial, amplifies the spiral of violence, discrimination and growing aggression towards populations, communities and the most vulnerable, whether they be women, minors, the elderly or people with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every act of coercion, contempt, intolerance on the grounds of gender, ethnicity, religious belief, bullying, or homophobia is a violation of the rights and freedoms of the individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maya Zignone<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maya Zignone nasce a Genova, dove lavora.
Nel suo lavoro analizza i meccanismi mentali del pensiero e della percezione, individuando come riferimento le potenzialit\u00e0 linguistiche e concettuali della vibrazione luminosa della luce e lo spazio come luogo in cui il tempo \u00e8 sospeso. Luce, fotografia, installazione e video diventano perno espressivo della sua ricerca. Dopo gli studi artistici si specializza in ceramica a Faenza, in grafica e comunicazione visiva a Genova e a Milano, lavora diversi anni nel campo della grafica e della pubblicit\u00e0. Dal 2003 espone in gallerie e istituzioni pubbliche in Italia, Francia, Svizzera, Slovenia, Germania, Finlandia, Bulgaria e Slovacchia<\/p>\n\n\n\n
