“We are always the first to make war<\/strong>“
Ik wilde een poster maken die doet denken aan de ‘mimeograph’ van de jaren 1970, die werd gebruikt voor goedkope folders die in die jaren in de straten van Bologna werden verspreid. Mijn techniek is gebaseerd op overlappende materialen, zoals acetaat, waarvan de luminescentie en glans me fascineren, en waarbij ik alleen zwarte en witte pigmenten gebruik. Dit contrast cre\u00ebert een sterke dramatiek in de visie van de poster \u201cals we geen vrede hebben met onszelf, zullen we altijd de eersten zijn die oorlog voeren\u201d.

Mauro Pipani woont en werkt in Cesena en Verona. Hij oefent zijn artistieke activiteit uit door te schilderen en te tekenen en heeft tientallen persoonlijke en collectieve tentoonstellingen van nationaal en internationaal belang op zijn naam staan. Hij is aanwezig in belangrijke hedendaagse kunstgaleries en doceert schilderen en schildertechnieken aan de academies voor schone kunsten van Verona en Bologna.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
